BigFatZero.co.uk
gives consumers a fair credit deal
A new website has been launched today which offers consumers the opportunity to purchase household electrical goods based on their available monthly disposable income.
BigFatZero.co.uk is the first of its kind in Europe to offer this form of selling proposition. Its basic premise is that the consumer purchases goods and pays over ten monthly instalments at 0% interest.*
In the face of rip-off credit agreements and ‘buy now – pay later’ deals, BigFatZero.co.uk offers consumers the opportunity to spread the cost of purchasing household appliances and consumer electronics, enabling them to borrow in a transparent and responsible way. Its prices directly compete with the high street.
Research by the British Bankers Association revealed that the proportion of credit card balances bearing interest was 75.4 per cent in December 2005 and that the average interest rate on credit card lending is currently at 15.44 per cent, around 11 percentage points above base rate.
Phil Tucker, BigFatZero.co.uk sales and marketing director enthuses about this new venture: “We believe that consumers are not getting a fair deal when purchasing their goods. The hidden extras of credit agreements mean many consumers get stung by charges. With BigFatZero.co.uk, you get true industry 0% credit, what you see is what you get.”
BigFatZero.co.uk makes buying consumer electronics simple by using a direct debit method. The company also keeps in regular email contact with the consumer and will notify them as their agreement is coming to an end.
